Cold Stone Creamery ~ Atlanta ~ Ice Cream

Coldstone in Atlana GeorgaThe children of living historians live a life of great demand! We were busy exploring the LivingHistorySites of Marietta and Atlanta on Emily’s birthday. Her one request was to eat at Chipotle on her birthday and to go to Cold Stone for their delicious mixed in ice cream, in Atlanta. For two days, we had asked folks where a Cold Stone was. Everyone had heard of Coldstone, knew there was a Coldstone in Atlanta, but could not place it. We finally found out about a Cold Stone in an area and dashed off to find it.

Near the Cobb Galleria and Convention Center, Vinings is a neat little historic area tucked in-between historical markers and pretty little shopping areas and nice restaurants.

We walked into the Cold Stone in Vinings, and I ordered my normal coffee concoction, coffee ice cream mixed with Heath bar, almonds and drizzled with hot fudge! Jamal took my order, and decided to really make it up big, since we are so Cold Stone deprived back home in TN. He made my Coffee Lover’s huge! Absolutely enormous and it was beyond delicious.

Dave had coffee and dark chocolate ice cream, with Butterfinger candy bars chopped up throughout!

Birthday girl Emily got cake batter ice cream mixed with white chocolate chips in a waffle bowl. It was extremely good and hit all the birthday taste buds that she wanted to hit, rounding out her perfect day!

Service was great at the Vinings Cold Stone, people were friendly in the outdoor seating area and the views were gorgeous!!  Historical markers were everywhere, so be sure and stroll the general area - it is lovely!
